Norma QI is the market intelligence platform built by Norma Wealth. It covers companies, sectors and markets across the GCC, the USA, the UK, Europe and Asia. As Market Researcher, you will own the research behind what Norma QI publishes, check that every number can be traced, and explain what each market is telling us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research sectors and markets and write clear, evidence-based reports
  • Build and maintain market models, comparable sets and valuation analyses
  • Check data against public originals and record how each figure was found
  • Review data quality and flag gaps, errors and stale figures
  • Use Python and AI tools to collect, clean, analyze and summarize market data, and check their output before it is used
  • Track market developments, regulation and listed company filings
  • Write sector notes, briefs and research summaries for subscribers
  • Work with the data and product teams to improve coverage and methods
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, or an MBA in Finance or Economics
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in relevant positions, such as equity research, investment research, market research, sector analysis, corporate finance, private equity or asset management
  • A record of published or presented research, with sound financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Working Python skills for data analysis (for example pandas), and strong Excel
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in research work, with good judgment on when to trust them and when to verify
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply
  • Careful, independent and organized, with experience in remote or cross-border teams

  • Experience with Africa and emerging markets
  • Experience with data visualization tools
